Even in this celebrity-obsessed age, there are still boundaries that most people adhere to when they spot a celebrity in the wild. Most people would probably hesitate to crash a celebrity couple's dinner date, but when you're a kid you are way more likely to get a free pass.
Such is the case for a young fan who was gutsy enough to ask for a photo with Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi -- a celeb hotspot in Santa Monica -- on Tuesday night.
Young Ricky Selby posted a photo of himself with the celebrity power couple and delighted in his third-wheel status, captioning the snap, "Awesome dinner with mom and dad."
Judging by Selby's Instagram account (and the fact his father owns a real estate development and investment firm in Los Angeles) he seems to travel to some pretty cool locations and run in to celebrities every now and then:
